Personal Data Protection Clarification

Yavuzlar Alüminyum A.Ş. Clarification Text on Security Cameras in the Service Area This clarification text has been prepared by Yavuzlar Alüminyum A.Ş. in the capacity of data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation.

A total of 75 security cameras, including 11 in the Administrative Department, 9 in the Environment, 9 in the Molding Plant, 6 in the Office, 14 in the Press, 8 in the Personnel, 5 in Packaging, 5 in Dyeing-Eloxal, 5 in Mechanical Processing and 3 in Dispatch, are used to record images in order to ensure building security, and the recording process is supervised by the administrative affairs and IT department.

Your personal data in question are processed by automated means based on the legal reason "data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" in Article 5 of the Law. In addition, your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies upon request to resolve legal disputes or in accordance with the relevant legislation.
