At our Qualanod-certified anodizing plant with an annual capacity of 5,000 tons, we produce anodized coatings in matte, gloss and colored finishes. On request, a brushed (satin) finish applied to the surface with steel brushes gives the profiles a decorative appearance. Profiles up to 7,000 mm in length can be anodized.
Anodized Coatings
Anodizing (anodic oxidation) works by thickening the oxide layer that occurs naturally on the aluminum surface in an electrochemical bath under controlled conditions. The process leaves the profile with a hard, stable protective layer that cannot be separated from the metal. Its thickness is defined by the intended application and the requirements of the relevant standard.
This layer significantly extends the outdoor service life of aluminum extrusion profiles: it provides resistance to corrosion and abrasion and keeps the surface color stable. From architectural facade systems to industrial applications, anodized aluminum profiles deliver functionality and a decorative appearance at the same time.
At Yavuzlar Alüminyum, anodizing is managed as one link in the production flow of our fully integrated plant in Gebze, which runs from the die shop through extrusion to surface treatment. We run our coating processes in line with the quality requirements of our Qualanod certification, and we work with you to select the right finish for your project from matte, gloss, colored and satin options.
